ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Sarah "Say" Craig - activist, leader, ambassador and bad-ass long distance outrigger paddler. Sarah is passionate about making this world a better and cleaner place. She educates and inspires people on how to lessen their environmental footprint, move away from single-use plastic, and to clean up our environment.
Sarah is known for her relentless efforts in combating marine pollution, she traverses the coastlines and waterways, collecting trash and raising awareness about the critical state of our oceans. In addition to her clean-up operations, Sarah organizes zero waste events in Marina del Rey, promoting sustainable practices and educating the public on reducing single-use plastics. Through her hands-on approach and community initiatives, Sarah has inspired countless individuals to take action, making a significant impact on preserving the marine environment for future generations.
Sarah just finished an adventure paddle in Puget Sound this July. Paddling 335 miles she utilized the Cascade marine trail campsites and picked up trash along the way. She is fundraising for the WWTA, Seastr and her own Zero Waste efforts in Southern California and the West Coast.
